Self Help Approach to Managing Multiple Sclerosis Symptoms PDF Print E-mail

Join a four week workshop teaching a self-help drug free technique to manage and reduce the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) used is a self-help complementary health tool which is highly effective in clearing emotional issues.  It is based on the same principles as acupuncture, although involves finger tapping on selected points rather than using needles. It is easy to learn and can be self applied. It has a broad application due to its success in reducing and removing negative feelings and emotions which may contribute to, or exacerbate certain conditions such as MS.

Living with MS can be a particularly stressful experience due to its unpredictable and varying nature and there is a growing body of evidence showing a direct link between physical pain and underlying emotional issues.  EFT successfully helps deal with problems such as managing pain levels, frustration, anger, guilt, depression, and other emotional changes brought about by your illness.

About the Workshops:                                                                                         Morning workshops are two hours long and run for four weeks in a small friendly group atmosphere in Kingsteignton. Max. 6 persons. Next workshop starts Thursday 15th March at 10.30 -12.30, then 22nd, 29th March and 5th April.
Who can Attend?
Anyone with MS. Partners of MS are also welcome to attend and will find the techniques equally beneficial for themselves.
Cost for the 4 week Workshop:
£60 per person.  £10 deposit will be needed to secure a place
